At Tathapi we have adapted the Akshara classification for use in the library. So we now have the Tathapi - Akshara Classification. See the classification..We have more than 4,000 books and hundreds of documents and news clippings on various topcs. A special attempt is made towards collecting books on men's issues, sexuality and masculinity, gender and health, development and health economics, social history of health and medicine, community health, health traditions, women's health status, violence and abuse, sexuality and puberty education fertility awareness men, gender issues and - masculinities and reproductive health. The effort is to collect books both in English as well as Marathi. We do get journals and newsletters from other organisations specifically on the issues of gender, health and sexuality.

We are also putting up for you some bibliography on various topics of womens' health. Some are in preparation. The first is on menopause. Note some books are available for borrowing at our Resource Centre, others are available in bookshops.
